Benefits
Benefits of
Sunayana.
Sunayana works on the eyes through ancient classical practices — naturally, gently and effectively.
Practice 01
Surya Shakti
Solar power
“Surya” means “Sun” and “Shakti” means “energy”. Surya Shakti is a dynamic form of the Sun Salutation — an ancient yogic practice with a powerful sequence of 18 postures. Life on the planet is solar powered, including the human system. Surya Shakti is a way of using that energy. It does wonders for your health, as well as your physical and mental wellbeing.
Practice 02
Eye Care
Practices
the core of the workshop
A set of classical practices specifically designed to strengthen, soothe and rejuvenate the eyes. These include targeted eye movements, palming techniques and focused practices that directly address the health and vitality of the visual system. Particularly beneficial for those who spend extended hours in front of screens, and for those with conditions such as Myopia or Hypermetropia.
Practice 03
Aum
Chanting
Vibrational resonance
The chanting of Aum creates a powerful vibrational resonance in the system — settling the mind, calming the nervous system and supporting the overall health and wellbeing of the practitioner. This sound vibration has a direct and measurable effect on the sensory organs, including the eyes.
Practice 04
Nadi
Shuddhi
Purification of energy channels
A classical alternate nostril breathing practice that purifies the energy channels of the system. It creates balance between the left and right hemispheres, bringing a quality of clarity and stillness to the mind. This purification directly supports the health of the eyes and sensory organs.
Practice 05
Shanmukhi
Mudra
Rejuvenate the face and eyes
Shanmukhi Mudra is a simple but subtle practice that brightens and rejuvenates the face and eyes. It is one of the most direct practices for eye health within the classical Hatha Yoga system.
